We’re Hiring! Broadway Announces Machine Operator Openings

Are you looking to join a recognized manufacturing company in NJ that has been experiencing enormous growth? Broadway Industries is seeking entry level Machine Set Up Operators for our 1st (5:45AM-2:15PM), 2nd (2:00PM-10:30PM) and 3rd shift (10:00PM-6:30AM) Monday to Friday.

Broadway will provide training and assistance during the initial period to learn how to set up the machinery as the individual learns how to manage both set up and run operations.

Machine operators are primarily responsible for set ups, adjustments and regular operation of  manufacturing machine equipment. They will monitor equipment for quality, defects and jams, as well as start and stop production runs under the supervisor’s orders. They will also be responsible for performing repairs, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, maintaining and improving operating conditions, safety, quality, and integrity of all production and final goods. This position requires completing work orders and turnovers per company standards.

Basic Requirements:

• GED or high school diploma. VoTech preferred.
• Mechanically inclined or with the ability to apply mechanical concepts.
• Basic to intermediate math skills.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Problem solving skills
• 1 or 2 years of previous experience operating manufacturing machines is preferred.
• Team player
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
• Able to pass a drug test
