Due to the enormous growth during the last few years, a recognize manufacturing company in the Monroe Township Area is actively seeking a permanent QC Inspector for our 1st shift (5:45AM-2:15PM) Monday to Friday.

Training and assistance will be provided during the initial period to learn how to work and assist the team. We train!

This position is primarily responsible for checking all packaging materials and products being manufactured and shipped out of the facility. QC inspector performs the following duties.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Pay attention to detail while inspecting. QC inspector follows the specifications given by product.
  2. Follow packing instructions and check for correct label and position on the box.
  3. Verify product with information in the job traveler to ensure that company is running and packing the correct product.
  4. Follow packing instructions and check for correct label and position on the box.
  5. Weights or counts randomly packed boxes to make sure quantities are correct.
  6. Inspects materials, propaganda, etc. at each step of packaging process.
  7. Records information such as weight, time, and date packaged.
  8. Fill out QC reports accurately.
  9. Reports in a timely manner any issues with production quality.
  10. Give good direction to production crews to ensure that they are packing a quality product.
  11. Follow upon the production crews to ensure that they are following the QC procedures.

Basic Requirements:

  • GED or high school diploma.
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills. Ability to take decisions quickly.
  • 1 or 2 years of previous experience in packing or manufacturing is ideal.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to work across different levels of the organization.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Able to pass a drug test

$11.50 per hour (Temp to Hire)
